Introductory - 3 days - 25 CE - $595
Pre-requisite: Therapist understands anatomy and physiology.
This 3 day introductory course is designed to teach massage professionals how to administer the ultimate barefoot effleurage application.The parallel bars suspended from the ceiling are used for balance, control and leverage. During this class, therapists will be trained in one footed posterior protocols and be shown how to safely complete the treatment by balancing the client back to a homeostatic state of well being. You do not have to take advance classes to deliver a one hour luxurious deep tissue massage.
Barefoot Anterior/Side-Lying Workshop
1 day - 8 CE - $199
Pre-requisite: Therapist understands anatomy and physiology. Must have completed Barefoot Basics class.
This course is usually taught right after barefoot basics for convenience and is designed to be a continuation of the sequences taught during barefoot basics.
But it’s really two (2) courses for the price of one.
The Anterior class is a continuation of the long effluerage strokes taught in barefoot basics on the anterior of the body to create a complete treatment.
In the side-lying portion of the workshop therapists will learn myofascial foot skills to spread and elongate the hip flexors and explore trigger point work done with the feet. Client assistance during the application is involved with multi-positioning to locate anterior, lateral, medial and sagittal muscles in relationship to surrounding structures and landmarks.

Anterior & Posterior Workshop
Pre-requisite: Understanding of basic anatomy.
Ashi-Thai is an expression of traditional Thai techniques and exercises that have been modified to use with bars on the ceiling. Ashi-Thai massage is performed fully clothed, without any oils or creams.
This flowing and rhythmic approach was developed for any body worker who prefers the table over a floor mat and wants to stretch and loosen their client before a massage. In this workshop you will be guided through many manipulations while holding onto a bar for better stability, support and balance. The Ashi-Thai live interactive workshop has been divided into 2 different modules - The posterior module & the anterior module. The combinations of techniques have been arranged following traditional energy lines and stretches for elongating and relieving tightness in commonly used muscles groups.
