"I consider myself caring, energetic, and a very personable therapist.  In my sessions I like to pour fun, love and knowledge into each massage to help guide you into a safe and welcoming space that will allow your body to feel total acceptance, relaxation, and well-being.  I love working with any level of athlete , whether that be the weekend warrior or professional cyclist.

I also really enjoy helping people feel completely relaxed after a long day, a tough week, or maybe just because  I have always known that I wanted to help people in some way, and my thirst for knowledge of the human body has led me to a career in Massage Therapy.  I feel it is an area of specialty where I will never stop learning about the amazing ability’s of our body’s and our hearts. My goal as a Massage Therapist is to share massage with the world, to find a way to make massage available for everybody.

Abi Steiner

Abi Steiner - Massage Therapist

Graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2009 and is certified in Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular therapy, Sports massage and Myofascial release. Before becoming a massage therapist, she was an EMT (emergency medical technician).

“I found that as an EMT, I enjoyed working with those who are in need of physical assistance. I felt, however, that it became too emotionally draining for me to pursue my career in that area. I found massage therapy to be a great fit, as I am able to help relieve pain, help people overcome physical ailments, and still keep myself healthy and happy. Treatments I administer often include stretches, focus on breathing and slow, deep pressure. I focus not just on the problem at hand, but outside influences that may be the root of the problem. My work is also usually very focused, I pay great attention to detail. Pressure tends to be very deep, but tender in nature. I approach each person with understanding. I know how it feels to be in pain, and how frustrating the healing process can be. I go into every session, open and willing, and put focus on your individual needs. Time with me, is your time. It is time for you to accept what your body, mind, and spirit needs.

A large part of my philosophy on healing includes self care. Sessions often end with observations (what I notice during the sessions) and if appropriate, stretches or suggestions to take home, so you can get to know your own body, and further your own healing.

Annie Evans

Annie Evans - Massage Therapist

Annie Graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon in March 2009. Recently she completed Oncology Massage Level One at the Colorado School of Healing Arts. Annie is fascinated by all the different modalities of massage and bodywork and enjoys learning about them and incorporating them into
massage when appropriate.  By providing therapeutic massage and educating individuals about the amazing benefits of touch therapies, Annie is excited to help people work together with their bodies, to “heal and be happy”. Her hopes are to encourage those she encounters to connect with their core, find balance, and begin making the positive adjustments needed to decrease their own stress.

“It’s amazing how stress has the ability to compromise everything in its path. Whether it is from an old injury, emotional stress, physical stress from work or exercise, etc., stress comes in all shapes and sizes and I am happy to be a part of Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) movement, as I believe this only brings us one step closer to lowering the stress levels around the world, so we can start enjoying life, not stressing about it.”

Jane Keys

Jane Keys - Massage Therapist

Jane received her 700-hour massage therapy certification from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in December of 2010. Her curiosity for cross-cultural alternative medicine developed prior to receiving her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Redlands (Southern California) in May of 2008. Recently certified in Thai For The Table, this course integrated Jane’s love for yoga into a new way of practicing bodywork. Jane intuitively incorporates breath work, stretching and a firmer touch to allow the body to really let go and relax to a deeper level. She specializes in deep tissue (trigger point therapy), sports massage, swedish, hot stone, and pre-natal. Jane is also interested in structural integration work and plans on getting her certification in myofascial release.

“I have the curiosity and wonder of a child…I question everything, and am always wanting to learn more. Touch has been my biggest form of communication throughout my life and making people feel better is an automatic reflex I naturally do well. Massage Therapy lets me do all of these things together—I feel so blessed to have turned what I know and love into a profession!”

“Listen to the body and it’ll tell you where to go.”

Jessa Vallone

Jessa Vallone - Massage Therapist

A recent Colorado transplant, Jessa is excited to be joining the wellness community of Symmetry in Denver. Beyond her 1000 hours of initial training in NC, advanced certifications include sports massage, Esalen massage, and Thai bodywork. All of Jess's work focuses on facilitating dynamic, whole body integration and ease of motion and movement. She loves to unify restorative and clinical effects. On experiencing the efficacy, elegance and power of Thai bodywork, it has become a main therapeutic focus and medium for her work. "The beauty of the work is that it helps to facilitate both targeted outcomes and general well being. The mindful integration of gentle, targeted movements in three dimensions, with compression massage along muscles, points and meridians, successfully addresses specific symptoms, and helps the whole body to feel more open, balanced, taller and lighter."

Jessa loves uniting Thai bodywork with other modalities. "While Thai bodywork is a powerful experience on its own, elements of the work are very useful as a complement to any style of massage -- from relaxation to sports to deep tissue. It's relevant to most any therapeutic goal -- treating pain and dysfunction, increasing mobility, conditioning for sports, and as a whole-body restorative."

Self care and awareness play a big role in Jess's approach to well being. "There are so many little things we can do for ourselves to maintain our own balance and harmony, and function at our peak. When we take the time to find our own path of balance, we can really be our best in our lives."

Jess is also a certified yoga teacher, and lover of the arts, dance, animals and the outdoors.

"Movement is the key to the body's incredible potential to heal itself. Everything that happens in life - and healing - happens through movement."
