Once upon a time in Denver, two friends who were also fellow massage therapists came together with a vision. They wanted to offer massage that was more than just a luxury or escape, they wanted to highlight how helpful massage can be in supporting a persons health. To help people re-discover how amazing their own bodies could be with a little nurturing and relief from pain. To recognize how much ability each person has to affect positive change in themselves. To help be a catalyst for an internal message "When I feel great I can do more and when I do more, I see how much I am capable of". The human body is amazing and the human potential within that body is astounding. From that vision, Symmetry was created.
Symmetry began in 2008 with the two friends proudly sharing a one-room massage practice in the back of
Joie De Vive Pilates Studio in the Highland neighborhood. Shortly afterwards they also acquired a second one-room office space in Lakewood. As time and business grew they found they had more appointments than the two of them could accommodate and began searching for therapists who could uphold the same level of service and skills.
In less than 2 years Symmetry had outgrown the one-room practice model and moved into its current space at 32nd and Zuni, only 4 blocks from the original office. The duo also swapped the one-room Lakewood office for the Centennial location with multiple rooms and a Sports geared partnership.
